Loch Lomond Original perfectly represents the DNA of the distillery of the same name. Distilled from the best ingredients from this unspoiled region of Scotland, this Single Malt is then refined in American Bourbon casks specially selected for their properties.
The result is elegant, lightly bodied and very harmonious with a very smooth whiskey with malty and woody aromas enhanced by cereals, hazelnuts and a distinctive hint of smoke. Very soft, this brandy is easy to apprehend.

Tasting
Color: gold.
Nose: the first impression recalls the pleasant and deep scent of warm leather associated with Highland heather. These notes gradually let emerge malted flavors with very smooth and more subtle and woody aromas. With a little water, the character becomes lighter and more floral.
Palate: pronounced malt notes blend with the sweetness of the cereal to give an almost creamy texture on the palate. We discover notes of hazelnut, Brazil nut, and slightly astringent citrus in the background. With a little water, the spices take up more space. Slightly peppery with ginger and licorice, the tasting continues on a honeyed structure where the sweetness of the malt is combined with interest with distinctive touches of green apple and ripe pineapple.
Overall: very smooth, it continues on notes of dark molasses and zest of citrus.
