“This American whiskey (not whiskey) is drier than most other Kentucky bourbons. The reason, a higher degree than the average (45%) and the presence of a strong% of wheat in addition to the corn within the mashbill (the mixture of cereals). This bourbon which cultivates its difference is marked in particular by notes of liquorice and violet which extend to infinity.
This excellent bourbon containing a small% of wheat bears the name of one of Kentucky’s most charming distilleries. Gold in color with amber reflections, the ample nose reveals liquorice, woody-vanilla, slightly burnt and rubbery aromas. The rather dry palate develops with finesse on dried fruits (nuts, raisins) and plum. The finish on the peach skin is long.
