The “maltmen”, who used to stir barley with a shovel, were constantly exposed to drafts which caused them severe rheumatism. This malting disease was known as “monkey shoulder”. It is in homage to these maltmen that the Grant’s family, owner of the emblematic Glenfiddich distillery, created this “triple malt” made from the blend of three single malts (Glenfiddich, Balvenie and Kininvie) with aromas of honey, cinnamon and vanilla.

TASTING NOTE
- Color: amber.
- Nose: smooth, balanced. Honey, herbaceous (green malt, cut hay) and delicately scented (rose water), it evolves with spices (ginger), liquorice and red fruits (blackberry, raspberry).
- Palate: fine, fruity. It is marked by dry nuts and sweet spices (cinnamon). It continues on vanilla, liquorice and creamy notes (milk cream).
- Overall: long, delicious. Both fruity (mirabelle) and floral (lavender), it develops with notes of chocolate and raisin bread.
